고양특례시 일산동구보건소가 ‘2025년 경기도 치매관리사업 경진대회’에서 종합 최우수기관에 선정돼 지난 25일 열린 ‘제18회 경기도 치매극복의 날 기념식’에서 경기도지사상을 수상했다.

경기도가 주관한 이번 대회는 지역별 치매안심센터의 특화사업을 평가하고 우수사례를 확산하기 위해 마련됐다.
경기도 내 46개 치매안심센터가 참여해 ‘치매예방 및 인지강화’와 ‘치매환자 지원’ 두 분야의 사업 성과를 평가받았다.
일산동구보건소 치매안심센터는 고양시의 반려동물 친화적 정책을 사업에 반영해 차별화된 모델을 선보였다.
주요 성과로는 ▲치매안심센터 모델견 ‘고동구’ 지정을 통한 치매친화적 환경 조성 ▲치매환자 및 가족을 위한 맞춤형 동물교감치유 프로그램 운영 ▲전국 최초 수준의 동물교감치유 치매관리 업무 매뉴얼 제작 등이 있다.
또한 다양한 지역사회 기관과 협업해 치매 통합관리 성공모델을 구축한 점이 높이 평가되면서 두 개 평가 분야를 모두 아우르는 성과를 인정받았다.
홍효명 일산동구보건소장은 “다양한 프로그램을 추진한 결과 좋은 성과를 얻게 돼 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 통합 치매관리 서비스를 확대해 치매안심사회를 만들어 가겠다”고 말했다.
