고양특례시가 청소년들의 참신한 정책 아이디어를 발굴하고 시정에 반영하는 '청소년 제안창작소'를 성황리에 마무리했다.
시는 지난 27일 마두청소년수련관에서 '2025년 청소년 제안창작소' 성과공유회를 열고, 청소년들이 직접 발굴한 정책 제안을 발표하는 자리를 가졌다고 30일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 지난 5월부터 약 4개월간 진행된 프로그램의 최종 단계로, 참가 청소년들이 스스로 기획하고 작성한 정책 아이디어를 공유하며 우수팀을 시상하는 자리로 마련됐다.
총 10개 팀이 참여해 1박 2일 캠프형 워크숍, 공무원 멘토링, 공감도 투표 등 다양한 과정을 거쳐 정책 제안을 완성했다.

참가 청소년들은 생활 속 문제를 자신들의 시각에서 새롭게 바라보며, 실현 가능한 정책 아이디어를 제시했다.
올해 제안된 주요 내용은 ▲고양시 축제에서 발생하는 쓰레기 문제를 해결하기 위한 '팔찌형 비닐봉지를 통한 쓰레기 투기 방지 캠페인' ▲일산호수공원 음용수대 위생점검 강화와 위치 안내 개선 ▲시각장애인을 위한 음향신호기 정기 점검 ▲버스 승차 알림버튼 설치 등이다.

'민윤보물탐험대' 팀은 일산호수공원 음용수대 관리 강화 방안으로 우수상을, '교문을넘어' 팀과 '고양온' 팀은 각각 시각장애인용 음향신호기 점검 제안과 버스 승차용 알림버튼 아이디어로 장려상을 수상했다.
'이윤' 팀은 아파트 소방점검 강화 및 홍보 방안을 제안해 고양시청소년재단 대표이사 특별상을 받았다.
고양시청소년재단 최회재 대표이사는 "청소년들이 직접 제안한 아이디어가 시정에 반영된다면, 그것이 바로 미래를 준비하는 첫걸음"이라며 "오늘의 경험이 참여민주주의의 의미를 배우는 값진 시간이 되었길 바란다"고 말했다.
