안양시의회 윤해동 의원이 지난 9월 30일 한국프레스센터에서 열린 ‘2025 자랑스러운 한국인 대상’ 시상식에서 지역사회 의정공헌 부문 대상을 수상했다.
윤해동 의원은 지역민의 목소리를 반영한 실질적인 입법활동과 현장 중심의 소통형 의정활동을 통해 지역사회 발전에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 이 상을 수상했다.
‘자랑스러운 한국인 대상’은 정치·경제·사회·문화·예술·스포츠 등 각 분야에서 국가와 사회 발전에 이바지한 인물을 선정해 시상하는 상으로, 투철한 사명감과 책임감을 바탕으로 타의 모범이 되는 인물에게 수여된다.
윤해동 의원은 도시건축 전문가로서 시민 삶의 질 향상을 위한 다양한 정책을 주도해 왔다. 특히 △공동주택 필수노동자 및 돌봄노동자 등 취약계층의 인권·처우 개선, △재개발·재건축 정비예정구역 지정 촉구 등 도시환경 개선, △초·고등학교 통학로 정비 및 경로당 시설 개선, △도로·신호등 등 생활안전 인프라 확충 등 시민 생활 전반에 걸친 정책 성과를 이끌어냈다.
윤해동 의원은 “시민들과 함께 고민하며 만들어 온 정책들이 인정받아 매우 뜻깊고 감사하다”며, “앞으로도 시민 삶의 변화를 이끄는 실천적 의정활동으로 지역 발전에 더욱 힘쓰겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

Anyang City Council Member Yoon Hae-dong received the grand prize in the Community Legislative Contribution category at the '2025 Proud Korean Award' ceremony held at the Korea Press Center on September 30th.
The 'Proud Korean Award' recognizes individuals who have contributed to national and social development in various fields, including politics, economy, society, culture, arts, and sports. It is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated a strong sense of mission and responsibility and serve as role models for others.
Council Member Yoon Hae-dong was recognized for his contributions to community development through practical legislative activities that reflect the voices of local residents and through hands-on, communicative legislative activities.
As an urban architecture expert, Council Member Yoon has spearheaded various policies to improve the quality of life for citizens. In particular, the policy achievements spanning all aspects of citizens' lives, including: improving the human rights and treatment of vulnerable groups such as essential and caregivers in apartment complexes; improving the urban environment by urging the designation of redevelopment and reconstruction zones; improving elementary and high school routes and senior center facilities; and expanding safety infrastructure such as roads and traffic lights.
