고양특례시 일산동구 식사동은 오는 10월 25일 식사중앙공원에서 ‘2025 식사동 견달산 모꼬지 한마당’ 축제를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 축제는 식사동 주민자치회가 직접 기획하고 참여하는 지역 축제로, 공연마당·체험마당·나눔마당·먹거리마당 등 네 가지 주제로 다채롭게 진행된다.
‘모꼬지’는 ‘모임’이나 ‘잔치’를 뜻하는 순우리말로, 남녀노소 누구나 함께 어울리고 소통할 수 있도록 기획된 마을 공동체 축제다.
공연마당에서는 지역 예술인과 주민 동아리, 대중가수 등이 참여해 풍물놀이, 합창, 댄스, 축하공연 등 다양한 무대를 선보이며 축제 분위기를 한층 끌어올릴 예정이다.
체험마당에서는 공예품과 생활용품 만들기, 드론 비행, 타로 체험 등 가족이 함께 즐길 수 있는 체험 부스가 운영된다.
나눔마당에서는 주민들이 직접 만든 물품이나 농산물을 판매하고, 그 수익 일부를 소외된 이웃에게 기부하는 나눔장터와 플리마켓이 열린다.
먹거리마당은 지역 직능단체와 주민들이 준비한 다양한 음식 코너가 마련돼 방문객들이 따뜻한 정과 맛을 함께 느낄 수 있다.
행사 관계자는 “식사중앙공원 인근에 주차공간이 부족해 혼잡이 예상된다”며 “저현고등학교 운동장과 지하주차장 등 100면 이상의 주차공간을 확보했지만, 가급적 대중교통을 이용해 달라”고 당부했다.
이수광 식사동 주민자치회장은 “이번 축제는 지역 주민이 주인공이 돼 함께 웃고 나누는 화합의 장이 될 것”이라며 “많은 분들이 참여해 공동체의 따뜻함을 나누길 바란다”고 말했다.
