박완수 경남도지사는 15일 오전, 도청 도정회의실에서 ‘도지사-도내 대학 총학생회장단 간담회’를 열고, 도내 15개 대학 총학생회장단 30여 명과 함께 경남의 미래와 청년 정책 방향에 대한 심도 깊은 논의를 진행했다.
박 지사는 인사말을 통해 “대학은 지역 인재를 키우는 중요한 기관이며, 경남도는 그간 지역대학 활성화를 위해 다양한 정책을 추진해 왔다”며 “청년들이 배우고 취업하며 정착하는 선순환 구조를 만드는 것이 도의 중요한 역할”이라고 강조했다.

이날 간담회는 경남도 정책 소개에 이어 대학생이 바라는 정책 제안, 그리고 도지사와의 일문일답 순으로 진행되었다. 참석 학생들은 현장의 목소리를 담아 취업, 주거, 창업, 문화 등 다양한 분야에서 실질적인 정책 제안을 쏟아냈다.

이 외에도 장학제도 원스톱 지원체계 구축, 청년 맞춤형 정주 프로그램, 청년 문화시설 확충 등 지역 정주율을 높일 다각적인 아이디어가 제시되었다.
