【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군이 17일 증평종합스포츠센터에서 열린 ‘재난안전 체험마당’을 성황리에 마무리했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 증평소방서(서장 손덕주), 증평의용소방대(대장 강미영)이 주최하는 119안전문화 대축제와 연계해 열려, 화재·지진·교통·수상·응급 등 실생활과 밀접한 7개 분야, 15개 프로그램을 통해 어린이들이 재난 대응 능력을 몸으로 익히는 안전 축제의 장이 됐다.
행사에는 지역 내 16개 어린이집 원생 400여 명이 참여했다.
아이들은 각 체험부스를 돌며 직접 배우고, 만지고, 느끼는 시간을 가졌다.
체험에는 화재대피훈련, 소화기 사용법, 지진 대응훈련, 횡단보도 안전교육, 구명조끼 착용법, 심폐소생술 실습 등 실전형 교육이 다채롭게 마련됐다.
특히 올해는 에어바운스를 활용한 ‘선박 탈출체험’과 ‘비행기 탈출체험’등 현실에서는 접하기 어려운 재난 상황을 생생하게 경험할 수 있는 프로그램이 새롭게 추가돼 어린이들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.
어린이들은 비행기 모형세트 안에서 탈출 요령을 배우며 긴박한 상황에서도 침착하게 대응하는 법을 자연스럽게 익혔다.
이 밖에도 △지진안전체험차량 △3D 교통안전 체험버스 △VR 가상안전체험존 등 첨단기기를 활용한 교육 프로그램이 함께 운영돼, 아이들이 놀이처럼 즐기면서도 위기 상황 대처 능력을 키울 수 있었다.
이날 행사장을 방문한 김선희 부군수는 “재난은 언제, 어디서든 발생할 수 있는 만큼 체험 중심의 안전교육이 가장 효과적인 예방책”이라며 “아이들이 즐겁게 배우며 스스로와 가족, 이웃을 지킬 수 있는 힘을 기를 수 있도록 다양한 재난유형별 체험교육을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
