고양특례시 덕양구 성사2동은 지난 28일, 가을철을 맞아 마을 경관을 아름답게 가꾸기 위한 하반기 초화 식재 행사를 열었다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 쾌적하고 정돈된 거리 환경을 만들기 위해 진행됐으며, 성사2동 주민자치회를 비롯해 통장협의회 등 관내 직능단체 회원 40여 명이 참여했다.
참여자들은 성사2동 행정복지센터 주변을 비롯해 성라초등학교 인근, 주요 도로변 등 마을 곳곳에 국화와 맥문동을 식재하며 지역의 미관 개선에 힘을 보탰다.
안진희 성사2동장은 “마을의 환경 개선을 위해 함께해 주신 직능단체 회원 여러분께 감사드린다”며 “거리 곳곳에 심긴 초화를 통해 주민들이 바쁜 일상 속에서도 잠시나마 가을의 정취를 느끼시길 바란다”고 말했다.
