고양소방서는 심정지 환자의 소중한 생명을 살린 시민 2명에게 '하트세이버(Heart Saver)' 인증서를 수여했다고 31일 밝혔다.

하트세이버는 심폐소생술(CPR)이나 자동심장충격기(AED)를 사용해 심정지 환자를 소생시킨 시민 또는 소방대원에게 주어지는 인증 제도이다.
이는 생명을 구한 이들의 자긍심을 높이고 시민들의 응급처치 참여를 독려하기 위해 시행된다.
이번 인증서 수여 대상자는 신수연(남/65세) 씨와 김범식(남/42세) 씨 두 명이다.
신 씨는 지난 2월 9일 덕은동 운동장에서 축구 중 쓰러진 시민을 심폐소생술로 구조했으며 또한 김 씨는 지난 4월 1일 삼송동에서 차량으로 이동 중 길에 쓰러진 사람을 발견하고 119구급차가 도착하기 전까지 심폐소생술을 시행해 생명을 구했다.
박기완 고양소방서장은 "심정지 환자의 생명을 지킨 여러분의 용기와 헌신에 깊이 감사드린다"며 "앞으로도 시민 모두가 위급 상황에서 적절하게 대처할 수 있도록 심폐소생술 교육과 보급에 최선을 다하겠다"고 전했다.
