일산소방서가 제63주년 소방의 날을 맞아 3일 기념식을 개최했다.
이번 기념식은 시민의 생명과 재산 보호를 위해 헌신해 온 소방공무원들의 노고를 격려하고, 안전한 일상과 행복한 일산을 만들기 위한 의지를 새롭게 다지는 자리로 마련됐다.
식전 행사에서는 경기아트센터 쉘위브라스의 밴드 공연이 펼쳐져 분위기를 고조시켰다.

기념식에는 이동환 고양특례시장을 비롯해 경기도의회 고은정·심홍순·오준환·이택수·곽미숙·김완규 의원, 고양특례시의회 권용재·조현숙·김수진·고덕희 의원 등이 참석해 소방공무원들의 헌신에 감사를 표했다.
이날 재난현장에서 묵묵히 임무를 수행한 소방공무원 및 민간유공자들에게 표창이 수여됐다.
이어진 2부 행사에서는 직원들이 함께하는 명랑운동회가 진행돼 웃음과 열정으로 가득한 시간을 보냈다.
권웅 일산소방서장은 "소방의 날은 시민의 생명과 안전을 위해 헌신한 모든 소방가족들에게 감사를 전하는 날"이라며 "앞으로도 시민이 신뢰할 수 있는 안전한 일산을 만들기 위해 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.
