고양특례시가 제60보병사단 과 손잡고 지역 안보 강화에 나선다.
고양특례시는 지난 4일 시청 열린시장실에서 제60보병사단과 지역 안보태세 강화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 5일 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 관·군 간 상호 협력체계를 공고히 하여 전시와 평시를 아우르는 통합방위태세를 확립하고, 위기상황 발생 시 신속하고 체계적인 대응 기반을 마련하기 위해 추진됐다.
협약식에는 이동환 고양특례시장과 이명철 제60보병사단장이 참석했으며, 양 기관은 지역 방위와 훈련 및 정보공유, 시설·장비 지원 등 다양한 분야에서 협력하기로 합의했다.
협약에 따라 고양특례시는 사단의 원활한 통합방위작전 수행과 부대 운영을 지원한다.
제60보병사단은 시의 안보 유지와 재난·안전 대응, 관·군 협력 활동을 적극 뒷받침하게 된다.
