경기도경제과학진흥원(경과원)이 파주시 이전을 위한 구체적인 행보에 나섰다.
경과원은 지난 6일 김현곤 원장을 비롯한 관계자들이 파주시 운정 일대를 방문해 이전 후보지를 직접 살펴보고 입지 타당성을 검토했다고 밝혔다.
이날 현장 방문에는 파주시 관계자들도 동행해 임차 후보지의 건물 규모와 시설 현황을 면밀히 점검했다.
특히 교통 접근성과 주변 산업 기반 시설 등 입지 여건을 종합적으로 평가하며 이전 방향을 구체화했다.
경과원은 이번 현장 점검을 시작으로 파주시와 긴밀한 협력을 통해 연내 임차 이전을 위한 실행계획을 마련할 계획이다.
