【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=증평군의회 이동령(사진) 의원이 7일 ‘증평군 위원회의 설치 및 운영에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안’을 대표 발의했다.
이번 개정안은 각종 위원회 운영 과정에서 기능 중복, 실적 미비 등 비효율적인 사례를 개선하고, 위원회 관리체계를 정비해 운영 절차의 합리성과 공정성을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.
주요 내용으로는 ▲ 군수 소속 위원회 전반에 본 조례가 적용되도록 적용 범위를 명확히 하고 ▲ 위원회 설치 시 총괄부서와의 사전 협의 의무 및 유사·중복 위원회 통합·폐지 권고 근거, 위원회 현황 통보 의무 등을 신설했으며 ▲ 특정 성별이 전체 위원의 10분의 6을 초과하지 않도록 위원 구성의 성별 균형 확보 조항을 새로 마련한 것이 핵심이다.
이동령 의원은 “이번 개정안을 통해 각종 위원회가 보다 체계적이고 공정하게 운영될 수 있기를 기대한다”며 “위원회가 단순 자문기구를 넘어 군정 발전의 실질적인 동반자로 기능하도록 지속적으로 제도를 보완해 나가겠다”라고 밝혔다.
이번 조례안은 오는 12월 3일 제214회 증평군의회 정례회 제2차 본회의에서 최종 의결될 예정이다.
