【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 ‘2025년 노인역량활용 선도모델사업’을 통해 국비 8000만원을 확보, 안정적인 노인 일자리 창출 기반을 마련했다고 10일 밝혔다.
이 사업은 신노년 세대가 가진 전문성과 경험을 지역사회 서비스에 적극 활용하고, 고령사회에 대응할 수 있는 안정적 일자리 기반을 마련하기 위해 추진된다.
사업을 통해 사회서비스 및 ESG(환경·안전·복지) 분야에 60세 이상 노인을 신규 채용하고, 일정 요건을 충족하면 1인당 연 최대 170만원의 국비 지원을 받을 수 있다.
군은 올해 초 한국노인인력개발원 세종충북지역본부를 통해 사업 대상지로 선정돼 본격적인 사업 추진에 나섰다.
올해 10월 말까지 47명의 신노년 인력이 공공행정서비스 지원 분야에 참여해 공원·녹지 및 체육시설물 유지관리 등 다양한 직무를 수행했다.
이를 통해 지역 생활환경 개선과 행정서비스 품질 향상에 기여함은 물론, 노년층의 안정적인 근로 환경과 소득 기반 마련에도 긍정적인 효과를 거뒀다.
군은 향후 인센티브를 적극 활용해 신노년 맞춤형 일자리를 지속 발굴하고, 사회서비스 확대를 통해 선순환형 일자리 구조를 강화해 나갈 방침이다.
이재영 군수는 “신노년 세대는 풍부한 경험과 전문 역량을 지닌 지역사회의 중요한 자산”이라며 “앞으로도 다양한 노인친화형 일자리를 지속적으로 발굴해 군민 모두가 활기차고 보람된 노년을 보낼 수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
