고양특례시는 지난 6일 소노캄 고양에서 제6회 고양혁신전략세미나를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

고양혁신전략세미나는 고양상공회의소(회장 이상헌)와 고양연구원(원장 김현호)이 공동 주관하는 정기 조찬세미나로, 지역 기업인들과 함께 고양시 지역경제의 혁신방안을 모색하기 위해 열리고 있다.
이번 세미나는 ‘고양특례시 미래 일자리 창출 기본구상’을 주제로 진행됐으며, 기업 현장의 목소리를 바탕으로 지역경제 상생과 발전을 위한 향후 방향을 설정했다.
이상헌 고양상공회의소 회장은 “고양시가 미래세대의 지속 가능한 성장을 위한 일자리 창출 비전과 전략을 마련해야 한다”며 “상공회의소도 기업의 자생력을 높이기 위한 지원에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
김현호 고양연구원장은 “전국적으로 일자리 경쟁이 치열한 가운데 고양시가 산업과 기업을 육성해야 더 나은 미래로 나아갈 수 있다”며 “오늘 세미나는 고양시 일자리 창출을 위한 매우 중요한 자리”라고 강조했다.
이어 고양연구원 김용덕 자족경제연구실장이 ‘고양특례시 미래 일자리 창출 기본구상’을 주제로 발표를 진행했다. 그는 국내외 일자리 환경과 고양시 산업 구조를 분석해 미래 일자리 창출을 위한 추진전략을 제시했다.
토론은 조봉현 IBK연금보험 부사장이 좌장을 맡아 진행했으며, 김학윤 가이아벤처파트너스 대표, 차미선 메디팹 대표, 황보율 위뉴 대표, 김중현 우아한형제들 전무, 정은애 중소벤처기업연구원 박사, 이주수 경기도경제과학진흥원 센터장, 유혜림 고양여성인력개발센터 관장이 패널로 참여했다.
토론에서는 콘텐츠 산업 인프라 강화, 청년 및 벤처 중심의 혁신 생태계 조성, 산학협력 확대, 기업 유치와 도시 브랜딩 확립, 규제 개선 및 포용적 고용 확대 등 다양한 의견이 제시됐다.
조봉현 부사장은 “고양시가 창직(創職)을 통해 새로운 일자리를 만들고, 일자리 정책 의지를 상징하는 ‘잡 온도계’를 설치하는 등 실질적인 변화를 보여줄 필요가 있다”고 제안했다.
이번 세미나를 통해 고양시는 콘텐츠 산업 기반을 강화하고, 청년과 기업이 함께 성장할 수 있는 지속 가능한 혁신 생태계 구축에 나설 것으로 기대된다.
