【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=음성군은 12일 군청 6층 대회의실에서 국립소방병원의 성공적인 개원을 지원하기 위한 개원지원협의체 본회의를 개최했다.
이날 본회의는 장기봉 음성군부군수가 주재한 가운데, 소방청 119대응국 구급의료팀, 충북도 소방본부 안전보건팀, 국립소방병원 운영기획팀 및 군청 관련 부서장 등 4개 기관 관계자 20여 명이 참석했다.
지난 8월 군은 내년 6월 정식개원을 앞두고 국립소방병원 개원지원협의체 실무회의를 열어 다양한 건의 사항을 수렴했으며, 이날 본회의를 개최해 지난 실무협의회에서 논의된 핵심 지원방안에 대해 보다 심층적 지원·협력 방안을 모색했다.
주요 논의 내용으로는 △의료 장비 도입 재정지원 △응급 의료분야 지원방안 △지역 인재 채용 및 연계 협력사업 발굴 등이다.
특히, 이날 회의에서 개원을 앞둔 국립소방병원의 초기 안정적인 운영을 위한 각 기관의 준비 사항에 대해 중점 논의됐다.

한편, 지난 2022년 첫 삽을 뜬 국립소방병원은 국내 최초 소방전문 의료기관으로 음성군 맹동면 충북혁신도시에 소재하며 착공 2년여 만인 올해 6월 공사를 마무리하고 내년 6월 정식개원을 위해 의료장비 도입 등 개원 준비에 만전을 기하고 있다.
