창원특례시, '제5회 반려 동·식물 문화축제'...성숙한 반려 문화정착

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시가 지난 15일, 용지공원에서 ‘소중한 가족, 반려 동·식물과 함께하는 힐링의 시간’을 주제로 ‘제5회 창원 반려 동·식물 문화축제’를 성공적으로 개최했다. 

최근 우리 사회 전반에 반려 동·식물과 더불어 사는 문화가 빠르게 확산되는 가운데, 창원시는 이번 축제를 통해 시민들이 반려 가족과의 삶의 가치를 공유하고 성숙한 반려 문화를 정착시키는 데 기여하고자 마련했다.

반려동물 문화축제장에서는 ‘잘 먹고 잘 싸개(냥)’라는 위트 있는 주제 아래 올바른 펫티켓(Pet-etiquette) 확산에 초점을 맞춘 행사가 진행되었다. 주요 프로그램으로는 ▲펫티켓 퍼포먼스 및 실천 게임을 통해 재미있게 규범을 익히고 ▲댕댕이와 함께 하는 산책 및 교감 교실로 보호자와 반려동물 간의 유대감을 높였다 ▲펫푸드, 펫용품 만들기 체험은 참가자들의 높은 호응을 얻었다.

동시에 열린 반려식물 문화축제장에서는 ‘도시농업 힐링팜 데이! 씨앗에서 식탁까지’를 주제로 도시농업의 중요성과 팜투테이블(Farm-to-Table) 문화를 개최해, 시민들에게 알리는데 집중했다.
