【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군 ㈜유영제약(대표 유주평)은 광혜원면 행정복지센터를 방문해 관내 어려운 이웃을 위한 온정의 김장김치와 바자회 수익금 60만원을 기탁했다고 17일 밝혔다.
이번 기탁은 ㈜유영제약 임직원과 가족 20여 명이 모여 직접 담근 김장김치 100포기(200kg), 백미 10kg 30포, ㈜유영제약 직원들이 바자회를 통해 모금한 수익금 60만원으로 마련됐다.
전달된 물품과 현금은 광혜원면 내 홀몸 어르신, 장애인 가구, 사회복지시설 등 복지 사각지대 가구에 전달될 예정이다.
유주평 대표는 “지역 주민들과 함께하는 기업으로서 따뜻한 마음을 전하게 돼 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 상생하고 이웃에게 힘이 되는 기업이 되기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
김순희 광혜원면장은 “(주)유영제약의 따뜻한 손길이 겨울을 앞두고 도움이 필요한 이웃들에게 큰 위로가 될 것”이라며 “기탁된 김장김치와 성금은 꼭 필요한 가구에 잘 전달하겠다”고 말했다.
