[노병한의 관상·칼럼] 개운(開運)의 열쇠는 귀인과의 인연이다. 플라시보(Placebo)의 효과로 연동될 수 있는 긍정적인 사고방식을 가져야 좋은 인연·스승·귀인·시절을 만날 수 있다. 가짜 약(藥)을 먹었으나 진짜라고 믿으면 효과가 나타나는 걸 위약(僞藥)효과라고 한다.
위약(僞藥)효과라고 불리는 플라시보(Placebo)의 효과는 자신을 변화시키는 주된 동인으로 작동할 수 있다. 예컨대 좋아질 것이라는 믿음이 그리될 것이라는 정신적 확신으로 전이되어 좋은 결과가 나타나는 걸 말한다. 믿음이 전제될 때 플라시보의 효과가 생긴다.

생각이 같은 사람들이 모여 사는 곳이 세상이고, 끼리끼리 통한다는 말이 있는데 이게 동류의식이다. 참된 수행은 자기를 찾는 공부이고 자기를 찾아가는 지름길의 깨우침이다. 동양사회의 선지식들은 음양오행과 역경(易經) 철학의 바탕에서 잉태한 사주학·풍수학·관상학·성명학의 논리를 만들어, 주어진 시간·공간 속에서 자신을 찾고 성찰했으며 미래를 향한 자신의 잠재 능력을 판단하고 가늠하고자 했다.
‘날마다 점점 더 좋아지고 있다.’처럼 주변인·상담사의 칭찬·기대·예언이 상대방에게 영향을 주어 그렇게 행동하도록 만드는 효과는 피그말리온(Pygmalion)의 효과이다. 이는 믿음에 대해 기다림이 전제되어야 한다. 칭찬은 고래도 춤추게 한다는 말처럼 말이다.
