고양특례시 일산서구 덕이동은 지난 25일 통장협의회 회원과 덕이동 직능단체가 함께 제설 봉사단 발대식을 열었다.

이번 발대식은 내 집 내 점포 앞 눈 치우기로 함께해요를 슬로건으로 겨울철 폭설에 대비해 주민과 함께 제설활동의 의미를 공유하는 자리로 마련됐다.
봉사단은 제설제와 제설 삽, 넉가래 등 제설 장비를 점검했으며 강설 시 위험 지역과 취약 구역, 집중 제설 구역을 다시 확인하며 현장 대응체계를 정비했다.
덕이동은 도농복합 지역 특성을 고려해 트랙터 제설 봉사단도 운영할 계획이며 제설차가 진입하기 어려운 농로와 이면도로를 제설해 주민 불편을 최소화할 방침이다.
신동엽 덕이동장은 지역 주민의 안전을 위해 매년 함께해 주시는 제설 봉사대원들께 감사드린다고 말했으며 제설 작업 시 안전사고가 발생하지 않도록 각별히 유의해 달라고 당부했다.
