【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 진천군 초평면 지사협은 관내 취약계층을 위한 김장김치 103박스(610만원 상당)와 온열매트(각 20만원 상당)를 전달했다고 27일 밝혔다.
김장김치는 취약계층 64가구와 경로당 39개소에, 온열매트는 취약계층 20가구에 전달됐다.
이번에 전달된 물품은 초평면 지사협 특화사업(사회복지공동모금회 지원)의 하나로 추진됐으며, 초평면 지사협 위원들이 대상자 가정을 직접 방문해 전달했다.
김영수 민간위원장은 “사랑이 가득 담긴 김장김치와 온열매트가 어려운 이웃들이 따뜻한 겨울을 날 수 있는 원동력이 됐으면 좋겠다”며 “앞으로도 복지 사각지대에 있는 이웃을 적극 발굴해 따뜻한 온기가 더 멀리 퍼질 수 있게 하겠다”고 말했다.
한미경 초평면장은 “바쁘신 와중에도 이웃사랑 실천을 위해 매번 노력해 주시는 지사협 위원분들께 깊이 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 초평면 행정복지센터도 관내 저소득층을 위해 다양한 복지사업을 추진해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 초평면 지사협은 이번 사업 외에도 △보행 보조기 지원 사업 △방충망 설치사업 △사랑의 반찬 배달 △주거개선사업 등 민관협력을 통한 복지 사각지대 발굴과 동네 복지 실현에 앞장서고 있다.
