세종특별자치시가 28일 시청 대회의실에서 ‘인공지능 금융 패러다임 혁신과 보안 세미나’를 열고 산업·금융 분야의 AI 기술 변화와 대응 방향을 논의했다.
이번 세미나는 공공과 민간, 학계 전문가가 함께 인공지능 기술을 둘러싼 산업·금융·보안 정책과 기술 전략을 공유하고, 활용 방안을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다.
먼저 장동인 카이스트 김재철인공지능대학원 책임교수가 ‘공공부문 인공지능 도입 전략’을 주제로 발표하며 정책적 시사점을 짚었다. 이어 김진아 GS그룹 52g DX 총괄 상무는 대기업 현장에서의 AI 내재화와 디지털 혁신 사례를 소개했다.
이형은 비자코리아 부사장은 결제시장 패러다임 전환과 AI 기반 글로벌 금융 혁신 흐름을 설명했으며, 이성권 엔키화이트햇 대표는 생성형 인공지능 확산에 따른 새로운 보안 위협과 대응 전략을 제시했다.
패널토론에는 정민기 세종시 인공지능정책특별보좌관이 사회를 맡아 공공과 산업 간 협력 방안, 정보보안 강화, 금융혁신 추진 방향 등을 심도 있게 논의했다.
이승원 세종시 경제부시장은 “인공지능은 산업구조뿐 아니라 금융·보안 전반의 혁신을 이끄는 핵심 기술”이라며 “공공과 민간의 지식 교류를 지속 확대해 미래 산업 경쟁력의 기반을 다져가겠다”고 말했다.

Lee Hyeong-eun, Vice President of Visa Korea, explained the paradigm shift in the payments market and the trends in AI-based global financial innovation. Lee Seong-kwon, CEO of EnkiWhiteHat, presented new security threats and response strategies stemming from the proliferation of generative AI.
The panel discussion was moderated by Jeong Min-ki, Special Advisor for Artificial Intelligence Policy for Sejong City, and included in-depth discussions on public-industry cooperation, strengthening information security, and promoting financial innovation.
Lee Seung-won, Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs of Sejong City, stated, "AI is a key technology driving innovation not only in industrial structure but also across finance and security." He added, "We will continue to expand knowledge exchange between the public and private sectors to lay the foundation for future industrial competitiveness."
