【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 올겨울 군민이 안심하고 생활할 수 있도록 안전사고 예방을 최우선으로 한 겨울철 제설 대책을 본격 시행한다고 3일 밝혔다.
군은 내년 3월 15일까지를 겨울철 제설대책 중점 추진기간으로 정하고 폭설 및 노면 결빙으로 인한 군민 불편을 최소화하기 위해 선제적·신속 대응체계 구축에 나선다.
이를 통해 교통두절 예방, 도로 안전 확보, 긴급상황 대응력 강화 등을 중점적으로 추진할 계획이다.
특히 군도 11개 노선, 농어촌도로 43개 노선, 교량 15개소, 기타 도로 363개 노선을 대상으로 집중 제설 관리를 실시하며, 기상 상황을 실시간 확인하기 위해 단계별 비상근무 체계를 마련하고 비상 연락망을 재정비했다.
또한 주요 고갯길에는 설해 모니터 요원을 배치해 강설·적설량·노면 결빙 등 현장 정보를 신속하게 수집, 선제적 대응에 활용한다.
군은 지난 10월 13일부터 11월 14일까지 사전 준비기간을 운영하며, 제설장비 점검·정비, 제설 자재 확보, 노선별 제설 우선순위 확정 등 철저한 사전 준비를 마쳤다.
아울러 장비와 인력 공백을 최소화하기 위해 임차 용역을 통한 장비·인력 보강과 제설 차량 이동시간 단축을 위한 전진기지 확보, 도로 결빙방지시스템 운영 강화 등 효율적 제설 기반도 갖췄다.
군은 덤프 7대, 굴삭기 1대 제설기 7대 살포기 7대 등을 활용해 24시간 대응체계를 구축했으며, 제설 자재 소금 683톤과 염화칼슘 293톤을 사전 확보했다.
