군은 중점추진기간(2025.11.~2026.2.) 동안 △겨울철 안전사고 및 화재예방 △주민생활 안정 △소외계층 지원 및 사회복지시설 점검 △폭설에 따른 교통안전 △농·축산분야 피해 예방 △공공시설 점검으로 각종 재난·재해 및 안전사고 예방은 물론, 소외된 이웃에 대한 관심과 지원을 강화해 주민 생활 불편을 최소화한다는 방침이다.
동절기 재난 및 화재 예방을 위해 재난·재해 취약시설에 대한 사전 점검을 강화한다. 특히 노인·장애인 복지시설, 요양병원, 어린이집 등 안전 취약계층 이용시설과 전통시장, 터미널 등 대형 피해 우려 시설에 대해 집중적으로 안전점검을 실시한다.
또 한국전기안전공사 등 유관기관과 합동으로 여객 터미널 4개소 및 전통시장 5개소에 대해 전기·가스 시설의 안전관리 실태를 점검해 대형 사고를 사전에 차단한다는 계획이다.
한파에 따른 주민 생활 불편을 해소하기 위해 내년 3월까지 상·하수도 시설물 일제 점검 및 정비를 실시한다. 또 동파 대비 주민 홍보를 강화하고 유관 기관과 비상 연락 체계를 구축해 동파 피해를 최소화한다.
아울러 김장 채소 수급 및 가격 안정화 대책을 수립하고, 관내 김장 재료 생산 현황 및 가격 동향을 집중 관리해 주민들의 경제적 부담을 줄인다는 방침이다.
저소득층과 독거노인 등 겨울철 취약 주민을 위해 긴급복지 지원(생계, 의료, 주거 등)을 연중 실시하고, 특히 동절기에는 긴급지원 주 급여 대상 가구에 월 15만 원의 연료비를 추가 지원한다.
