대표적인 것이 진천군 스포츠의 상징이라 할 수 있는 진천종합스포츠타운이다.
약 14만㎡ 부지에 총사업비 527억원을 투입해 축구장, 야구장, 씨름장, 테니스장, 정구장, 그라운드골프장, 다목적체육관 등을 조성해 14개 이상의 생활체육을 즐길 수 있다.
연간 약 12만 명이 이용 중이며 전국에서 벤치마킹을 오는 등 군 단위 생활체육시설로서는 전국에서 손꼽힐 만큼 주목받고 있다.
노령인구 증가에 따른 선호도가 강해지고 있는 파크골프장도 적극 확대하고 있다.
백곡천 둔치 일원에 사업비 14억 5천만원을 투입, 2개 코스, 18홀 규모(1만7500㎡)로 조성한 생거진천 파크골프장은 지난 2023년 개장했다.
또 올해 5월에는 18홀 규모(19,159㎡)의 문백 파크골프장을 새롭게 선보였으며 개장 뒤 얼마 지나지 않았지만 3천 명 이상이 골프장을 찾았다.
읍면별 다목적체육관과 생활체육공원 조성도 한창이다.
