브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넥슨은 신규 개발 법인 딜로퀘스트를 설립했다고 5일 밝혔다.
딜로퀘스트는 넥슨코리아의 100% 자회사다. 넥슨이 보유한 IP에 대한 깊은 이해를 바탕으로 개발 역량을 집중해 안정적이고 체계적인 개발 환경을 마련하고 신작 개발을 추진할 계획이다.
초대 대표이사에는 넥슨코리아 김종율 퍼블리싱라이브본부 부본부장이 선임됐다. 또한, 이태성 총괄디렉터(개발 총괄 부사장)를 주축으로 핵심 개발 인력이 다수 합류한다. 2026년 중 공개 채용을 통해 개발팀의 규모를 확대하며 신작 개발을 본격적으로 추진할 계획이다.
김종율 대표는 “새로운 개발 법인에서 넥슨의 개발 역량을 집중해 많은 유저분들의 기대에 부응하는 신작을 선보일 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
