【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 이달 11일부터 13일까지 3일간 음성읍 읍내리에 위치한 지평더웰아파트에서 국민건강영양조사를 실시한다.
국민건강영양조사는 ‘국민건강증진법’ 제16조에 근거해 국민의 건강과 영양 상태를 종합적으로 파악하기 위해 매년 시행된다.
질병관리청이 주관해 전국적으로 진행되는 조사로, 음성군에서는 25가구 65명을 대상으로 전문 조사팀이 이동검진차량을 활용해 건강설문조사, 검진조사, 영양조사를 통합 수행하는 방식으로 진행된다.
흡연, 음주, 신체활동, 식습관 등 국민의 건강행태를 조사뿐 아니라 비만, 고혈압, 당뇨병, 이상지질혈증, 구강질환 등 주요 만성질환에 대한 검진 조사도 포함된다.
조사를 통해 산출된 자료는 국민건강증진종합계획의 만성질환과 건강생활실천 목표 설정에 활용되며, 세계보건기구(WHO) 및 경제협력개발기구(OECD)의 국제 기준과 비교해 국가 건강 수준을 평가하는 데에도 중요한 근거 자료가 된다.
