겨울철 기온 급강하로 인한 수도관 동파와 부실시공 방지, 안전사고 예방을 위해서다.
이에 따라 군은 올해 급수 신청을 이달 10일까지 받는다.
이미 접수한 신청 건은 차례로 진행하되, 일시 중지일까지 진행하지 못할 때는 내년에 진행한다.
급수 신청은 내년 2월 28일 재개하고 공사는 내년 3월부터 시행에 들어갈 예정이다.
군 관계자는 “겨울철 부실시골 방지를 위해 상수도 공사를 일시 중지하는 만큼 군민 여러분의 많은 이해와 협조를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 안정적인 상수도 공급을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
