이날 기부금은 이월면 주요 기업인들이 마련한 것으로, 생거진천하이라이스푸드 영농조합법인 정창선 대표, (주)두원건설 최두식 대표, (주)제이앤제이푸드 제상락 대표, 가마물류(주) 이광만 대표가 각각 200만원씩, 총 800만원을 전달했다.
정창선 대표는 “고향을 위한 기부가 지역발전에 중요한 역할을 한다고 생각해 지난해부터 참여하게 됐다”고 말했다.
최두식 대표는 “고향사랑기부 제도가 지역에 실질적인 도움이 되고 있다는 점에서 기쁘다”며 “진천의 발전을 위한 기부 문화가 확산되길 바란다”고 말했다.
제상락 대표는 “고향에 대한 애정이 담긴 기부를 통해 작은 보탬이 됐으면 한다”고 말했다.
