이번 정비는 상업용, 공공용 구분 없이 법령을 위반한 불법 현수막을 근절하기 위해 추진되며, 군청 건축과 및 각 읍면에서 도로변, 교차로 등 주요 게시 장소를 집중적으로 정비한다.
군은 지속적으로 교통안전과 보행에 위험이 되는 불법 현수막을 정비하며, 상습적인 대량 게시자에게 과태료를 부과하는 등 행정처분을 진행할 방침이다.
조용만 건축과장은 “이번 일제 정비를 통해 불법 현수막이 없는 안전한 거리 환경을 조성하고, 쾌적한 도시 미관을 유지하기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
