【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군은 지역을 찾는 방문객들이 진천의 역사와 문화적 가치를 보다 깊이 이해할 수 있도록 문화관광해설 서비스를 주요 관광지에서 상시 운영하고 있다고 15일 밝혔다.
현재 해설이 제공되는 관광지는 △진천 농다리 △길상사 △정송강사(송강문화창조마을) △이상설생가(보재이상설선생기념관) △향토민속자료전시관 등 총 5곳이다.
이 중 향토민속자료전시관은 주말에만 해설 서비스를 운영하고 있으며, 올 연말 20년 만에 새 단장을 하고 재개관을 앞둔 종박물관은 2026년부터 주말 운영을 시작한다.
군 문화관광 해설은 지역 문화유산의 역사적 배경과 지역 인물의 삶, 생활, 문화 등을 알기 쉽게 전달하고, 특히 중국어가 가능한 다문화 해설도 운영한다.
해설 서비스는 매일 오전 10시부터 오후 5시까지 일 3회 운영되며, 신청은 문화관광해설사 통합예약 사이트에서 예약하거나 현장에서 직접 신청하면 된다.
진천군 소속 해설사는 “관광객들이 가장 먼저 마주하는 ‘진천의 첫 번째 군민’이라는 마음가짐으로 해설에 임하고 있다”며 “진천을 찾는 모든 분이 진천에 대한 좋은 기억을 가지고 돌아가실 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
