파주시가 지역 상권 활성화와 소상공인 경쟁력 강화를 위한 지속적인 노력과 성과를 인정받았다.
파주시는 지난 17일 경기도시장상권진흥원 본원에서 열린 ‘소상공인·상권활성화 지원 우수 지자체’ 선정 행사에서 경기도시장상권진흥원으로부터 감사패를 수여받았다고 밝혔다.

경기도시장상권진흥원 감사패는 2025년 한 해 동안 지역경제 회복과 상권 활성화에 기여한 지자체를 대상으로 수여되는 것으로, 파주시는 수원시·용인시·화성시·남양주시와 함께 총 5개 우수 지자체 중 하나로 선정됐다.
파주시는 그동안 경기도시장상권진흥원과 긴밀한 협력을 통해 ▲경기도 브랜드 거리 육성 사업 ▲골목상권 활성화 사업 ▲상권 매니저 지원 ▲소상공인 자생력 강화 사업 ▲추석맞이 소상공인 민생회복 프로젝트 등 다양한 상권 지원 사업에 적극 참여하며 지역 상권 경쟁력 제고와 소비 활성화에 힘써왔다.
특히 시는 단기적 지원에 그치지 않고, 상권의 지속 가능한 성장 기반을 마련하는 데 주력해 왔다.
운전자금 지원과 경영환경 개선사업을 통해 소상공인의 경영 부담을 완화하는 한편, 지역 상생 소비를 촉진하는 ‘가치동행페스타’를 운영하며 현장 중심의 실질적 지원 정책을 펼쳐왔다.
이와 함께 지역화폐인 ‘파주페이’ 캐시백 행사를 통해 지역 내 소비 선순환 구조를 강화하고, 골목형 상점가 지정 기준 완화 등 지역 특성을 반영한 제도 개선을 지속 추진하며 골목상권 보호와 활성화에 앞장섰다.
