브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 진에어는 에어부산과 국내선 코드쉐어(Code Share) 판매 및 운항을 시작했다고 7일 밝혔다.
이달 6일 개시한 이번 공동운항 서비스는 한진그룹 산하 LCC 3사의 본격적인 물리적 결합을 위한 첫 단계로, 2027년 초 출범 예정인 통합 LCC의 안정성과 사업 연속성을 선제적으로 확보하기 위한 조치다.
진에어·에어부산 간 코드쉐어는 상호 운항 스케줄 보완성이 높은 김포–부산, 제주–부산, 제주–울산 등 국내선 3개 노선에 한해 시행된다.
이는 부울경 지역에서 노선 경쟁력을 보유한 에어부산과 판매·운항 체계를 연동해 실제 고객 접점에서 통합 운영의 안정성을 점검하기 위한 단계적 통합 전략의 일환이다.
이러한 협력을 통해 진에어는 마케팅사로서 판매 및 마케팅을 담당하고, 에어부산은 운항사로서 항공편 운영을 맡는다. 이에 따라 승객은 진에어 홈페이지·모바일 채널 등을 통해 진에어 편명(LJ)으로 에어부산 국내선 3개 노선 운항편을 구매할 수 있게 된다.
