사업 대상은 1년 이상 거주하지 않거나 사용하지 않는 주택이다.
장기간 방치된 빈집은 붕괴와 범죄사고 발생 위험이 있고 경관을 훼손하는 등 다양한 사회적 문제를 일으킬 우려가 있다.
이에 군은 올해는 자체 예산을 편성해 총 30개 동에 동당(건축물 대장상 1건) 3백만 원을 보조한다.
신청 대상자는 이달 30일까지 지원신청서를 각 읍면 행정복지센터 산업개발팀에 제출하면 된다.
주변 경관 훼손, 빈집의 노후도 등 우선순위에 의해 지원 여부가 최종 결정된다.
선상균 건축과장은 “마을 곳곳에 방치된 빈집을 조속히 정비해 안전하고 쾌적한 주거환경이 조성될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 군은 지난해까지 총 1078동의 빈집 정비사업을 추진했다.
