【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군포도영농조합법인 소속 산포도원(대표 김성식)은 2024년에 이어 최근 두 번째로 베트남으로 샤인머스캣을 수출하며 해외시장 개척에 박차를 가하고 있다.
이번에 수출된 샤인머스캣은 700g~1kg 크기의 맞춤 재배된 고품질 상품으로 수출량은 총 1,260kg 규모다.
많은 물량은 아니지만, 해외로 판로를 확대하는 의미 있는 성과로 평가되며 앞으로 참여 농가를 점차 늘려가 계획이다.
군은 그간 지역 농가의 수출 경쟁력 강화를 위해 수출용 포장재 지원, 구근 보급, 태국·베트남 홍보 판촉 행사 등 다양한 사업을 펼치고 있으며, 이러한 지원은 지역 농가의 수출 활성화에 실질적인 기여를 하고 있다.
그 결과 군의 신선농산물 수출은 2025년 12월 기준 2,665만 달러를 기록, 전년 대비 54% 증가하며 충북 도내 1위를 달성할 수 있었다.
이는 샤인머스캣을 비롯한 지역 농산물의 품질 경쟁력을 높이는 것은 물론 적극적인 지원 정책 추진이 맞물려 나온 결과라는 평가다.
김성식 대표는 “이번 수출 성과를 계기로 2026년에는 태국과 미국 등으로 판로를 확대할 계획”이라며, “지역 포도 농가의 참여를 독려해 다양한 유통 경로를 개척하고 함께 상생해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
봉윤종 군 농산물유통팀장은 “연속된 베트남 수출은 진천 샤인머스캣의 품질 경쟁력을 입증한 사례”라며 “군 차원에서도 지속적인 지원을 통해 해외 판로를 다변화하고 세계 시장에서 한국 포도의 위상을 높여 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
