【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군이 본격적인 통합돌봄 시행을 앞두고 준비에 속도를 내고 있다.
군은 새해 비전으로 ‘전 생애 돌봄을 통한, 사람 중심 도시 증평’을 제시하며 통합돌봄 체계 구축에 박차를 가하고 있다.
1월 1일 자로 통합돌봄 전담팀을 신설해 행정적 기반을 강화했다. 전담팀은 돌봄 대상자 발굴, 서비스 연계, 모니터링까지 체계적으로 관리하며, 대상자 중심의 돌봄체계가 현장에서 안정적으로 작동하도록 컨트롤타워 역할을 수행하게 된다.
지난해 12월에는 지역 의료기관과 방문의료 협력 업무협약을 체결해 방문진료·가정간호 등 의료돌봄 공백을 최소화하고 신속한 의료 지원을 제공할 수 있는 협력체계를 구축했다. 이를 통해 일상생활이 어려운 대상자가 집에서 필요한 재가의료서비스를 받을 수 있도록 지원할 계획이다.
아울러 취약계층 돌봄 강화에도 힘쓰고 있다. 장애인 보호작업장과 장애인지역사회통합지원센터 건립을 통해 장애인의 자립과 정서적 안정을 지원하는 맞춤형 서비스를 추진한다.
또한 아동·청소년·청년·어르신까지 전 세대를 아우르는 돌봄망을 정교하게 구축하고, 행복돌봄센터를 중심으로 권역별 돌봄시설을 유기적으로 연결해 지역 전체가 하나의 통합 돌봄망으로 작동하도록 할 계획이다.
군 관계자는 “군민 모두가 체감할 수 있는 돌봄 서비스를 제공하기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”며 “오는 3월 통합돌봄 시행을 앞두고 차질 없는 준비로 군민 삶의 질 향상에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 군은 돌봄 경제를 지역 성장의 핵심 동력으로 발전시켰으며, 돌봄 수요 증가에 대응한 전문 인력 양성과 양질의 일자리 창출을 통해 지역경제 활성화까지 이어지는 선순환 구조를 만들 예정이다.
