파주시가 겨울철 한파와 도로 결빙으로 인한 안전사고를 예방하기 위해 본격적인 현장점검에 나섰다.
시는 지난 22일 최병갑 부시장 주재로 결빙 취약구간인 감악터널과 인근 적성면 한파쉼터 2개소에 대한 종합 안전점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이날 점검에서는 감악터널을 중심으로 제설·제빙 장비 운영 상태와 제설자재 비축 현황을 확인했다.
특히 자동염수분사장치 작동 여부, 배수 및 노면 상태 등을 꼼꼼히 살폈으며, 터널 출입부와 음지 구간 등 사고 위험이 높은 지점의 현장 대응체계도 점검했다.
이어 적성면 한파쉼터 2개소를 방문해 운영시간 준수 여부와 난방시설 가동 상태를 확인했다.
이용 안내체계와 노약자 등 취약계층의 이용 편의성도 점검한 결과, 쉼터는 전반적으로 안정적으로 운영되고 있는 것으로 확인됐다.
