태안해양경찰서가 국민 생명과 재산을 지키기 위해 해양안전 저해 행위와 민생침해 범죄에 대한 대대적 특별단속에 돌입한다.
이번 단속은 2월 1일부터 해양안전 테마(4월 30일까지)와 민생침해 테마(9월 30일까지)로 나뉘어 전담반(수사·형사·함정·파출소)을 총동원한다.
해양안전 저해 사례로 선박 불법 증·개축, 과적·과승, 안전검사 미이행, 음주 운항을 중점 관리하며, 민생침해 범죄로는 무허가·무면허 불법어업, 선박·양식장 침입 강·절도, 선불금 사기, 해양종사자 횡령·배임 등을 강력 단속한다.
태안해경은 선제적 현장 순찰과 첨단 장비를 활용해 사고 예방에 주력, 서민 생계 근간을 흔드는 범죄 척결로 해양 종사자 보호를 약속했다.
태안해경 관계자는 “바다 안전사고는 생명과 직결되므로 철저히 관리하고, 민생침해 범죄는 단호히 근절하겠다”고 강조했다.
