고(故) 이해찬 전 더불어민주당 대표의 마지막 보좌관이었던 홍순식 세종시장 출마예정자가 ‘보여주기식 행사와의 결별’을 선언하며 시민 소통 중심의 출판기념회를 열면서 출판기념회 변화의 시작을 알렸다.
