신한은행이 공인회계사 합격자를 대상으로 한 특별채용에 나선다. 회계 전문 인력을 선제적으로 확보해 기업금융 경쟁력을 끌어올리는 동시에, 실무수습 기관을 찾지 못한 ‘미지정 회계사’ 문제 완화에도 기여하겠다는 구상이다.
신한은행은 19일부터 공인회계사(CPA) 시험 합격자를 대상으로 약 30명 규모의 특별채용을 실시한다고 밝혔다. 지원서 접수는 다음 달 13일까지 진행되며, 서류전형과 1·2차 면접을 거쳐 최종 합격자를 선발할 예정이다.
이번 채용은 기업금융(IB), 인수합병(M&A), 산업심사 등 고난도 업무 역량을 강화하기 위한 조치다. 은행권에서 기업대출과 투자금융, 구조화금융 등 전문성이 요구되는 영역이 확대되는 가운데, 회계 전문지식을 갖춘 인재를 내부에 직접 육성하겠다는 전략으로 풀이된다.
특히 눈길을 끄는 대목은 ‘미지정 회계사’ 문제와 맞닿아 있다는 점이다. 공인회계사 시험에 합격하고도 실무수습 기관을 배정받지 못해 경력을 시작하지 못하는 사례가 적지 않은 상황에서, 신한은행은 합격자들을 실무수습 등록이 가능한 직무에 배치할 계획이다. 은행권이 회계사 인력의 실무 수습 통로 역할을 일부 분담하는 셈이다.
면접 과정에서는 직무 수행에 필요한 문제 해결 능력과 금융상식, 커뮤니케이션 역량 등을 종합적으로 평가할 방침이다. 단순 회계 지식뿐 아니라 금융 현장에서의 적용 가능성과 협업 역량까지 검증하겠다는 의미다.
신한은행 관계자는 “미래 핵심 사업의 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해 우수 인재를 선제적으로 확보하기 위한 특별채용”이라며 “회계 전문성과 금융 전문성을 겸비한 인재로 체계적으로 육성해 나갈 계획”이라고 말했다.

Shinhan Bank has launched a special recruitment program targeting newly certified public accountants (CPAs), aiming to strengthen its corporate finance capabilities while also helping ease the issue of “unassigned CPAs” who have yet to begin their mandatory practical training.
The bank announced that it will recruit approximately 30 CPA exam passers starting on the 19th. Applications will be accepted through the 13th of next month, followed by document screening and two rounds of interviews before final selections are made.
The initiative is designed to bolster expertise in investment banking (IB), mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and industry credit analysis. As financial institutions expand into more sophisticated areas such as structured finance and corporate advisory services, securing accounting professionals with strong technical knowledge has become increasingly important.
Notably, the recruitment program also addresses the growing number of CPA passers who have not yet been assigned to practical training institutions. Shinhan Bank plans to place successful candidates in positions eligible for practical training registration, effectively providing an alternative pathway for them to begin their professional careers.
During the interview process, applicants will be evaluated on problem-solving skills, financial knowledge, and communication capabilities, ensuring they can apply accounting expertise effectively in real-world financial settings.
