세종테크노파크가 세종 지역 중소기업의 기술 혁신과 자생적 생태계 구축을 위해 ‘2026년 지역혁신선도기업육성 R&D 사업’에 적극 나섰다. 중소벤처기업부가 주관하는 이 사업은 비수도권 중소기업의 경쟁력 강화와 지역 균형발전을 목표로 한다.
특히 올해는 사업 지원 규모가 약 734억 3,000만 원으로 전년 대비 518억 원 가까이 대폭 증가했고, 지원 대상 품목 수도 684개로 확대되며 지역 기업에게 더 넓은 기회를 제공할 예정이다. 참여 요건도 완화되어, 매출 규모에 관계없이 기술력이 뛰어난 유망 기업이라면 ‘R&D 집약도’ 기준에 맞춰 쉽게 도전할 수 있다.
사업은 두 가지 트랙으로 나뉘어 운영된다. ‘주력산업 생태계 구축’은 산·학·연 컨소시엄 방식으로 2년간 최대 14억 원을 지원하며, ‘지역기업 역량강화’는 단독 또는 컨소시엄 수행이 가능하고 최대 4억 원을 받을 수 있다.
신청 기간은 2월 11일부터 3월 3일까지이며, 중소기업 기술개발사업 종합관리시스템(SMTECH)을 통해 온라인 접수가 진행된다.
세종테크노파크 관계자는 “지원 문턱은 낮추고 혜택은 늘려 지역 중소기업들이 기술 성장의 실질적인 기회를 잡을 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Sejong Technopark has actively launched the "2026 Regional Innovation Leading Company Development R&D Project" to foster technological innovation and build a self-sustaining ecosystem for Sejong-area SMEs. Led by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, this project aims to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs outside the Seoul metropolitan area and promote balanced regional development.
