최민호 세종특별자치시장이 2월 20일 부강산업단지를 찾아가 입주 기업 관계자들과 허심탄회한 대화를 나누며 현장 소통에 나섰다.
이번 간담회는 지난달 전의일반산업단지 방문에 이은 올해 두 번째 ‘찾아가는 산업단지 현장 소통 행사’로, 산업단지별 애로사항을 직접 듣고 맞춤형 지원 정책을 마련하기 위한 자리다.
이날 간담회에는 부강산단 입주기업 중 한화첨단소재, 보쉬전장, 아우모비오일렉트로닉스, ㈜지인, LED라이텍 등 5개 회사 임직원이 참석해 기업 운영상의 어려움과 산업단지 인프라 개선 필요성에 대해 다양한 의견을 밝혔다.
주요 건의사항으로는 산단 인근 도로 포장을 통한 교통 환경 개선, 공용시설의 체계적 정비 및 유지관리 강화, 산단 내 유휴부지를 활용한 태양광 발전 설비 설치 검토 등이 있었다.
최 시장은 “기업 현장의 목소리를 꼼꼼히 살펴 시정에 적극 반영하겠다”고 약속하며, 현장 방문 후에는 한화첨단소재의 생산 제품 전시관을 찾아 첨단 소재 생산 현장을 둘러봤다.
한화첨단소재는 자동차 경량화 및 내외장재 부품, 고기능성 복합소재, 태양광 소재 등 첨단 분야에서 제품을 생산하며 지역 인재 채용과 사회공헌 활동도 활발히 전개 중이다.
최민호 시장은 “산업단지는 지역 경제와 일자리 창출의 핵심 기반인 만큼, 기업이 경영에 집중할 수 있도록 행정 지원을 아끼지 않을 것”이라며 “앞으로도 현장 중심의 소통을 강화해 실질적인 지원책을 마련하겠다”고 전했다.
한편, 세종시는 지난해 산업단지 현장 소통 간담회를 통해 기숙사 임차비 지원 요건 완화, 마을버스 노선의 산업단지 경유 등 기업 애로사항을 적극 반영한 정책들을 이미 추진해 왔다.
