대전 유성구가 민원실 안전 강화를 위해 유성경찰서와 합동 ‘상반기 특이민원 대응 모의훈련’을 실시했다. 26일 구청 민원실에서 인감증명 발급 과정 폭언·폭행 상황을 가정해 진행됐다.
민원여권 직원, 청원경찰, 신성지구대 경찰관이 참여한 훈련은 단계별 매뉴얼대로 이뤄졌다: 상급자 진정 유도, 보호 장비 녹화·녹음, 비상벨·청원경찰 호출, 피해자 보호·민원인 대피, 제압 후 경찰 인계.
정용래 구청장은 “폭언·폭행은 공무원과 주민 안전을 위협한다”며 “정기 훈련과 장비 확충으로 안전 민원실을 만들겠다”고 강조했다.
유성구는 상·하반기 정기 훈련을 지속하며, 13개 동 행정복지센터 자체 훈련도 강화할 계획이다.
