【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 보은군은 27일 소회의실에서 의료기관 퇴원환자의 돌봄 공백 해소와 지역사회 복귀 지원을 위한 ‘의료기관 퇴원환자 통합돌봄 연계사업’ 업무협약을 체결했다.
이날 협약식에는 보은한양병원, 속리산요양병원, 성암요양병원 등 군내 3개 의료기관이 참여했으며, 의료·요양·돌봄이 유기적으로 연계되는 통합지원 체계를 구축하기로 뜻을 모았다.
이번 협약은 오는 3월 27일 시행되는 ‘의료·요양 등 지역돌봄의 통합지원에 관한 법률’에 발맞춰 추진된 것으로, 퇴원환자의 지역사회 복귀 지원체계를 사전에 마련하고 의료와 돌봄 간 연계를 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.
협약에 따라 병원은 퇴원 예정 환자 중 의료·돌봄 서비스가 필요한 대상자를 발굴·의뢰하고, 군은 통합지원회의를 거쳐 개인별 지원계획을 수립해 필요한 서비스를 연계·제공한다. 이를 통해 재입원 및 재입소를 예방하고, 대상자가 살던 곳에서 안정적으로 생활할 수 있도록 지원할 계획이다.
최재형 보은군수는 “퇴원 이후 돌봄 공백으로 인해 재입원하는 사례가 발생하지 않도록 의료기관과 긴밀히 협력하겠다”며 “군민이 살던 곳에서 건강하고 안정적인 삶을 이어갈 수 있도록 통합돌봄 정책을 적극 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.
보은군은 사업 홍보를 거쳐 3월 27일부터 퇴원환자 지역사회 연계 사업을 본격 시행할 예정이다.
