【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북대학교 이차전지 혁신융합대학 사업단 3기 서포터즈인 이승신(화학공학과 3학년) 학생이 한국연구재단 주최 「2025년 첨단분야 혁신융합대학 우수 서포터즈 선발」에서 뛰어난 성과를 거두며 교육부장관상을 수상했다.
이번 수상은 전국 첨단분야 혁신융합대학(COSS) 참여 대학 서포터즈를 대상으로 진행된 평가에서 활동 실적, 홍보 성과, 콘텐츠 기획력 등을 종합적으로 인정받은 결과다. 이승신 학생은 충북대 이차전지 혁신융합대학 사업단 3기 서포터즈로 활동하며 온·오프라인 홍보 콘텐츠 제작과 프로그램 확산 활동에 적극 참여해 주목받았다.
이승신 학생은 “이차전지 혁신융합대학 사업단 활동을 통해 전공 분야를 널리 알릴 수 있어 뜻깊었다”며 “앞으로도 이차전지 분야 발전에 기여할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

한편, 이차전지 혁신융합대학 컨소시엄 사업(COSS)은 교육부와 한국연구재단의 지원을 받아 2023년 6월부터 운영 중이다. 충북대를 비롯한 5개 대학과 충청북도, 청주시, 부산광역시, 인천광역시 등이 협력해 이차전지 분야 국가적 인재 양성을 목표로 다양한 교육 및 연구 프로그램을 진행하고 있다.
