대전광역시교육청과 동·서부교육지원청이 3월 3일부터 20일까지를 ‘2026학년도 초·중·고 학생 교육급여 및 교육비 집중 신청 기간’으로 정하고, 교육복지 사각지대 해소에 나선다.
이번 지원 사업은 저소득층 가정의 경제적 부담을 덜어주고, 모든 학생에게 균등한 교육 기회를 보장하기 위해 마련됐다.
지원을 희망하는 가정은 주소지 관할 동 행정복지센터를 직접 방문하거나, ‘교육비 원클릭’ 또는 ‘복지로’ 누리집을 통해 온라인으로 간편하게 신청할 수 있다.
기존에 교육급여 및 교육비를 지원받던 학생은 별도의 재신청 절차 없이 기존 자격을 유지할 수 있다. 다만, 초등학교에 입학하는 신입생의 경우, 형제나 자매가 이미 지원을 받고 있더라도 반드시 신규 신청을 해야 혜택을 받을 수 있다.
집중 신청 기간이 지나도 상시 신청은 가능하지만, 원활한 지원을 위해 가급적 기간 내 신청하는 것이 좋다.
2026년 기준 중위소득 50% 이하(4인 가구 기준 월 3,247,369원) 가구를 대상으로 하는 교육급여는 전년 대비 6.6% 인상된 교육활동지원비를 지급한다.
초등학생은 연 502,000원, 중학생 연 699,000원, 고등학생 연 860,000원이 지굽된다.
교육비 지원은 항목에 따라 소득 기준이 상이하다. 방과후학교 자유수강권, 현장체험학습비, 졸업앨범비는 중위소득 80%(4인 가구 기준 월 5,195,790원) 이하 가구를 대상으로 한다.
특히 현장체험학습비는 소득 수준과 관계없이 다자녀 가정의 경우 둘째 자녀부터 지원받을 수 있는 것이 특징이다.
