【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군은 4일 지역 어르신들에게 다양한 치매예방 프로그램을 제공하는 ‘제9기 장수대학’ 입학식을 진천군치매안심센터에서 성황리에 개최했다.
이날 입학식은 옛날 교복 체험을 시작으로 신입생 선서, 축사, 치매안심센터 소개 순으로 진행됐다.
특히 어르신들은 교복을 입고 학창 시절의 추억을 되새기며 새로운 배움의 출발을 기념하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.
제9기 장수대학은 ‘치매스마트학과’ 과정으로 운영되며, 스마트폰, 키오스크 사용법, 보이스피싱 예방법 등 일상생활에 꼭 필요한 디지털 교육을 중심으로 진행된다.
교육은 주 1회, 3개월 과정으로 운영될 예정이다.
군 치매안심센터 관계자는 “이번 프로그램이 단순한 기술 교육을 넘어 어르신들의 두뇌 활동을 촉진하고 사회적 소통을 확대하는 치매 예방 활동이 될 것으로 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 치매 예방 프로그램을 통해 건강하고 행복한 노후를 지원하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
군은 앞으로도 어르신 맞춤형 프로그램을 지속 확대해 지역사회 중심의 예방적 치매 관리 체계를 더욱 강화해 나갈 방침이다.
