【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 보은군은 정월대보름을 맞아 6일 보은국민체육센터에서 ‘2026년 정월대보름 민속행사 윷놀이대회’를 열었다.
대한적십자사봉사회 보은지구협의회(회장 박인선) 주관으로 열린 이날 행사에는 최재형 보은군수와 주요 내빈, 군민 및 적십자 회원 등 500여 명이 참여해 정월대보름의 의미를 되새기며 화합의 시간을 가졌다.
행사는 보은군 풍물연합회의 흥겨운 지신밟기 공연으로 시작됐으며, 이어 참석자들이 함께 참여한 철도 유치 퍼포먼스가 펼쳐져 지역 발전과 철도 유치에 대한 군민들의 염원을 모으는 시간도 마련됐다.
이어 열린 윷놀이대회에는 보은 관내 기관·단체에서 팀당 6명씩 구성된 68개 팀이 참여해 정월대보름 전통놀이를 함께 즐기며 군민 화합의 분위기를 더했다.
대한적십자사봉사회 보은지구협의회는 참가자들을 위해 점심 식사를 마련해 함께 음식을 나누고 덕담을 나누며 정월대보름의 의미를 되새기는 소통의 장도 마련했다.
박인선 회장은 “정월대보름을 맞아 군민들이 함께 모여 전통놀이를 즐기며 서로의 안녕과 풍요를 기원하는 의미 있는 행사”라며 “윷놀이를 통해 액운을 날려 보내고 모든 가정에 건강과 평안이 가득한 한 해가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
최재형 보은군수는 “정월대보름 민속행사를 준비해 주신 대한적십자사봉사회 보은지구협의회 관계자분들께 감사드린다”며 “오늘 행사가 우리 고유의 전통 민속놀이를 계승·발전시키고 군민들이 함께 어울리며 넉넉한 마음을 나누는 화합의 장으로 자리매김하길 바란다”고 말했다.
