도내 바이오(의약·의료기기) 중소기업을 대상으로 연구개발(R&D), 시제품 제작, 시험·인증, 인허가, 해외 판로개척까지 성장 단계별 지원사업이 추진되며, 이 가운데 일부 사업은 3월부터 순차적으로 공고될 예정이다.
우선 ‘차세대 의료기기 기술개발 지원사업’ 등 의약·의료기기 분야 R&D 지원사업을 통해 6개 과제가 선정돼 과제당 최대 1억원의 도비가 투입되고 있다. 선정 기업들은 이를 기반으로 핵심 기술 고도화와 차세대 제품 개발에 나서고 있다.
3월부터는 연구 성과의 사업화를 촉진하기 위한 후속 프로그램도 이어진다. ‘바이오기업 시제품 제작 지원사업’을 통해 GMP 기준 시설에서 임상 또는 비임상 시료 생산을 지원해 연구개발 결과물이 실제 상용화 단계로 이어질 수 있도록 뒷받침할 계획이다.
인허가 부담 완화를 위한 조치도 병행된다. ‘바이오제품 안전성·유효성 시험비용 지원사업’을 통해 식약처 GLP 인증기관에서 수행하는 비임상 시험비용을 보조하고, ‘의료기기 원재료 안전성 특성 분석’과 ‘의료기기 인증·인허가 획득 지원사업’을 함께 추진한다.
특히, 인증·인허가 획득 지원사업은 사전진단부터 시험평가, 기술지도, 인증획득까지 원스톱 체계로 운영돼 중소기업의 규제 대응 역량을 높일 것으로 기대된다.
해외시장 진출을 위한 지원도 계속된다. ‘2026 싱가포르 국제 의료기기 박람회’와 ‘동남아시아 CPHI 2026(의약품 원료·제약 전문 박람회)’ 참가를 뒷받침해 아시아 및 신흥시장 바이어 발굴과 수출 상담 기회를 확대할 방침이다.
