7일에는 안병근올림픽기념유도관에서 열린 ‘제43회 대구시회장배 유도대회’ 현장을 찾아 참가 선수들을 응원했다. 이 대회에는 중·고·대학생과 대학생이 포함된 엘리트부와 생활체육부 등 300여 명이 참가했다.
추 의원은 “유도는 예의와 인내, 그리고 정신력을 키우는 데 큰 도움이 되는 훌륭한 스포츠”라며 “더 많은 시민이 생활체육으로 유도에 참여할 수 있도록 관심과 지원을 계속할 것”이라고 말했다.
