【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=제천장애인종합복지관은 취약계층의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 숲체험교육 지원사업 업무협약을 체결했다.
이번 업무협약은 지난 2월 25일부터 3월 5일까지 2주간 기관별 현장을 직접 방문하는 ‘찾아가는 업무협약식’ 형태로 진행됐다. 협약에는 다하주간이용센터, 살레시오의 집, 제천시장애인청소년직업적응훈련시설, 제천시정신건강복지센터, 큰나무주간활동센터 등 관내 5개 복지 기관이 참여해 뜻을 모았다.
기존의 숲체험 프로그램이 한방생태숲, 용두산 자연송림, 제천치유의 숲 등 산림 자원을 활용해 신체와 정신 기능을 향상하는 데 집중했다면, 올해는 이를 더욱 확장해 진행한다. 새롭게 도입되는 산촌지역 체험활동은 딸기, 블루베리 수확, 한방 족욕, 한방 체험 등 지역 특산품을 활용한 다채로운 프로그램으로 구성될 예정이다.
한편, 이 사업은 3월에서 10월까지 산림청, 복권위원회, 한국산림복지진흥원 후원을 받아 복권 기금으로 진행된다.
